When ever I listen to this sloka composition, it takes me to that special place where there is peace and hope.  Don’t have to know what it means, just simply listening to it is worthwhile.

    Have you noticed that at no place in this Sloka particular God’s name is mentioned?
    Suklaam baradaram-that which is white
    Vishnum-Supporter
    Sasivarnam- of hues of the Moon
    Chatur bujam-with four hands
    Prasanna Vadanam-with a smile and radiant face
    Sarva Vigna Upasaanthatye-Remove of all obstacles
    Duyaayet-i constantly think of Him.
    Like Gayatri mantra, this is an Universal Prayer that is addressed to Reality;that’s the reason it is chanted in all religious functions.
